Teaching Assistant

Salary Spine point 5-6 £22,800 - £23,211 (actual pay pro-rata £19,283 to £19,631)

35 hours per week. Term time only for 39 weeks per year

Fixed Term Contract.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our committed team of Teaching Assistants by working closely with class teachers and the school’s Senior Leadership Team to support students to enable learning.

We require a Teaching Assistant to work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30-4:00pm, term time only. You will need to be flexible and have excellent inter-personal and communication skills. You will need to demonstrate competence in supporting students within a learning environment to encourage them to achieve and make good progress.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, identity and safeguarding checks and will be probationary for the first 6 months. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
