Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 36 hours per week / 38.6 weeks per annum
For the right candidate, on request, alternative working hours will be considered
Actual salary (S7): £24,713 per annum (FTE: £29,291)

St Matthew’s Church of England Primary School is a large two form entry primary school with its own nursery class and Special Needs Support Centre.
We are looking to appoint a Child, Family and Learning Support Worker who is passionate about securing the best outcomes for all children.
Our new Child, Family and Learning Support Worker will:

Champion our vulnerable pupils and raise aspirations and expectations of what they can achieve

Identify and address the needs of children and families to help overcome barriers to learning including persistent absence

Promote the safeguarding and welfare of children and families where social and emotional issues are proving to be barriers to the child’s educational progress

Working with children and families to promote emotion resilience

Use a therapeutic approach to supporting children to improve their educational outcomes
