Assistant Headteacher (Inclusion) - St. Michael's Primary Bexley
JOB OVERVIEW
St Michael’s Church of England Primary School is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion to join our senior leadership team. This is a key strategic role, leading the school’s inclusive practice and ensuring that every child—particularly those with additional needs or vulnerabilities—thrives academically, socially and emotionally. This is a new role for the school and will involve leadership of our new Resource Provision for children with SLCN as well as leadership of of our mainstream SEND, being the SENCO at the school as well as supporting and leading wider inclusion. The role is not class-based and will involve a teaching responsibility. The role is advertised as a full time position; considerations for part-time will be considered.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership with deep expertise in inclusion, SEND and pastoral systems.
This role is well suited to an established inclusion leader, experienced SENCO, or middle leader with SLCN expertise ready to step into senior leadership.
