Headteacher's Welcome

At St Matthew's we aim high, encourage and have faith so that all our children have successful futures. 

We have high expectations for all our children and work to ensure they make excellent progress from their starting points during their time with us. 

The St Matthew’s family is very important to us. Relationships are strong here. We want to work with you to ensure your child gets the very best from their education and the wider opportunities we can offer. 

We are a two form entry primary. We also have a nursery with morning, afternoon and full time places and a special needs support centre for children with a diagnosis of ASD. 

We would love to welcome you to St Matthew’s School to meet our dedicated and experienced staff team, see our well resourced buildings and extensive grounds and to share our programme of wider opportunities.
