St Luke's CofE Primary

Headteacher's Welcome

St Luke’s is a friendly and high performing one-form entry Church of England Primary School, in West Norwood. Our goal is to provide outstanding academic and pastoral guidance to each and every child so they leave us keen and ready to succeed in life and grow into global citizens who contribute positively to our society.

At St. Luke’s, we pride ourselves on high standards for all learners across our rich and varied curriculum, whilst nurturing each ‘unique child’ to enjoy ‘life in all its fullness’ - our Christian vision which is at heart of everything we do.

We aim to inspire our learners to become independent, resilient, lifelong learners, whilst working together in partnership with parents, carers, the Church and the wider community.

We have a strong and welcoming community and we look to make sure that all stakeholders feel that their role is important in securing success for the school and ultimately, our learners.

St Luke's works in partnership with Christ Church Streatham and St John's Angell Town, enabling staff and learners to reach their full potential, share ideas, resources and best practice

This website aims to give you a comprehensive overview of our school, as well as providing regular updated information for parents, pupils and prospective families.

Our Christian Vision

Vision

A statement of our Christian ethos: We Believe That Each Child is a Unique gift from God…

When people asked Jesus what were the most important things we should do he replied: ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength [and] You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ (Mark 12:30-31)
