Our People Stories
Sophia Bryan-Whyte, Headteacher and EDI Lead
St Luke's Primary School
The support I have received from the Trust has really helped me to excel in my role. The approach to school support is not incidental but highly considered and strategic. I particularly value that the support given to our school is bespoke, tailored to our specific context and needs. Support from the Trust’s Education Partner and School Improvement Programme has made my first year of headship better than I could have hoped.
Our school also benefits from being part of the Central Finance Service, which we opted into just over two years ago. Our Business Manager is well supported and able to focus on more strategic matters, knowing that all the day-to-day financial processing is being handled efficiently by the Trust. As a result, we are in a strong position, and I am confident that we are both financially stable and fully compliant.
Additionally, the support I have received in my first year of headship from the HR Partner has been second to none. The depth of knowledge and expertise available has saved considerable time and reduced unnecessary processes that I might otherwise have had to manage alone. The support with recruitment, staff development, and general queries has undoubtedly contributed to our school being a positive and productive place to work and learn.
